THE ESSENCE OF SHIVYOG
Babaji's teaching revolve around 6 major points, which not only can bring that change in life that one seeks, not only help manifest everything one wants to experience in this lifetime but also provides a clear patch to liberate one from the cycle of birth and death (moksha).
These six points are the points that Babaji instructs everyone to follow and which is a must for a ShivYog Sadhak. The basic fundamental behind these points are that as one goes on adding these characteristics into one's life, slowly the negative karmas are burnt and also one can prevent further creation of negative karmas. One is able to overcome all the vices in oneself that creates negative karma. Thus a stage comes where all the karmas are destroyed and then sufferings and turmoils just vanish from one's life. This provides a clear path to moksha. These six points have been classified here into two major points that is to be practiced regularly in two forms:
- PHYSICAL: To be done physically.
- ABSTRACT: To be done on the subtler levels using mind, intellect, emotions, etc.
PHYSICAL: The three S.
Sadhana: Is the meditation and other spiritual practices taught by Babaji like self-healing the body, 7 chakras, 5 koshas, 7 tatvas, healing situations, relationships, home, dhyaan, pitra ascension, Siddha healing, Shambavi sadhana and Sri Vidya sadhana. It also includes the various kriyas and asanas Babaji teaches. There are many types of sadhanas babaji asks one to do; the most basic being the Shambhavi sadhana in the morning and Sri Vidya sadhana in the late evening.
Seva: Nishkaam (selfless) service to all living beings including plants and animals, nature, environment, Mother earth in the form of physical service or in the form of healing.
Charity also is a form of seva. Any physical assistance given to the needy or to the guru or guru's mission is also seva. Basically, it is just giving selfless service at any opportunity with total humbleness and desire to help.
Nishkaam seva means service without any motive or gain and is to be done without the "I"ness (no kartha bhaav) keeping in mind that the healer is HE and not me. Babaji says the real nishkaam seva is when one stays away from the credit for his/her seva or when done hidingly (without anyone's knowledge of who did it).
Sankirtan: Chanting the various mantras for various purposes is also an essential part. The beej mantra and other mantras are very beneficial for burning one's negative karmas. Here also more than the count, bhaav must be given importance to. Singing bhajans or devotional songs also contribute to a large extent. This is to be done with full involvement using all emotions.Read more.

ABSTRACT:
Accept: One has to accept one's own self first the way one is and then one will be able to accept other's as they are. Babaji emphasizes that all incarnate as humans with their own soul agendas to learn from incidents and experiences that they create for themselves and hence one should not interfere in their karma. For one, accepting all as they are is important without attempting to change them in any way. This comes with self-acceptance first. The main reason for the inability to accept others as they as is because one is unable to accept one's own self as he/she is.
Forgive: One has to forgive one's own self for all the hurt one has caused to oneself or to others knowingly or unknowingly. When one is truly able to do this by releasing the guilt feeling then one is able to forgive oneself. When this is done, it becomes easier to forgive others for all the hurts they have caused to oneself knowingly or unknowingly. If the law of karma is understood this becomes easier to practice. When forgiveness is practiced, healing starts and becomes the solution the various overwhelming problems in life.
Love: Not just love but Babaji stresses many many times it is unconditional love which means no conditions attached like "I love you because you are....." or "I will love you only if you...." but unconditional love is "I love you however you are irrespective of whatever you do to me." Now, this point is not easy. It is much difficult if one tries to just love ignoring the above two points. It is my personal observation that if the first two points are practiced, this third point starts becoming a possibility. Again, Babaji repeats that one will be able to love others unconditionally only when one loves oneself unconditionally.
Babaji lets us know that these three simple yet difficult things will take us beyond the realms of suffering and pain. I love Babaji's teachings because he is teaching Jesus Christ taught and practically demonstrated in his life. Christ also was a siddha and all siddhas have the very same approach to teaching. Christ had this undying love for all irrespective of well wishers, enemies, sinners which showed he practically lived accepting people as they are. It also showed his unconditional love. While he was being inflicted by the Roman soldiers he looked above and whispered "Father, forgive them for they do not know what they are doing." which demonstrates his power of forgiveness for even people who caused him suffering in ignorance.
These qualities can be observed in all siddhas and saints who walked on this earth irrespective of whichever religion formed under them or whichever religion they were considered to be in. We are extremely lucky to have such a siddha walking amidst us and even luckier to be blessed by his love and compassion. Love and gratitude to you Babaji for that.
Finally, this para is an addition to this article which came as a reminder from another ShivYog sadhak, Ashish as a kind reminder of another important message from Babaji - to always practice gratitude for everything in life. We should be grateful to each and everything. We also as ShivYog sadhaks become rhini (indebted) to our guru and gratitude is the only way by which we can repay back. Similarly, we have to be grateful to anybody and anything that gives us something in any form.
To end it, this article may just be a reminder from somewhere that we need to stay focussed on these six simple teachings of Babaji. For a brushup, before you exit just scroll up and look intensely at ONLY THE WORDS IN BLUE.

Sankirtan
Music plays such an important role in spirituality. Music that is made of vibration. We can trace back life or creation also to vibration - to sound - the OM (Aum).
What provokes me to write this article is the recent videos I saw on westerners creating and singing bhajans or chanting them so beautifully. Also a video that was posted by Preet which showed a child looking at the picture of Yogananda Paramahamsa and singing. It is such a beautiful connection. For me, music has always played a great role in "connecting". I say this with experience in producing music, creating tunes, singing, playing instruments, etc. I never knew that it could be so connecting because I always had this craving since childhood for music. I always played or sung for music groups just for the passion I had for music. It was only after I came in touch with babaji that I learnt many many things including the music connection. I also realized a very important thing. All my life, I have seen the music industry giving so much of value to singers, performers and musicians who can give quality. This quality was limited to voice perfection and perfection if performance and any music that was produced. More of all, every bit of music that is made and is sung or performed is precisely done keeping in mind the taste of the audience. The mood of the audience changes and the music creation and rendering changes, always adapting to the changing tastes of the audience. I observed this everywhere, picking and pointing out the errors or flaws that singers made or things that didn't suit in the instruments that were played. I developed this habit in order to get things to perfection. I watched few bhakths or sadhaks in bhakthi marg (devotion) on TV singing offbeat and tears flowing down their cheeks. I would just wonder why did they have to sing if they did not know how to sing. Then as I came in touch with ShivYog, I saw few episodes on TV where babaji sang and he sang not in perfection. I noticed the glitches; I ignored it since he was a guru.
Same thing, I carried with me to the shivirs. There what I saw and experienced changed my entire perception of music. babaji was still singing, like in TV, but this time there were no flaws! He must have missed the raaga or taal but this time the organs for singing and hearing were different. His organ for singing was his heart and my organ of hearing was my heart... and it indeed was such beautiful music, such a beautiful song! This music and song excels all ratings of real music! Then I realized that what we look for perfection and label as perfection in the 3D world is not perfection but our perception! Perfection is what I now listen and feel and hear and sing. babaji taught me new music. A person who has no formal training in music still excelling every bit of music score and with so much of power and awe. It is then that I realized how people singing and dancing in the vicinity gurus do it without any watch on themselves on the quality of their singing or dancing.
The language of music is universal and can be felt throughout the world. Here is a video of a western group that I accidentally (of course, there are no accidents or coincidences) came across on youtube.
Irrespective of the language and pronunciation watch the energy levels rises with the song Kali Durge Namo Namah..
Irrespective of the language and pronunciation watch the energy levels rises with the song Sambo Sadashiv..
When I look around in the Shivir, I know that many are withholding their spirit that wants to leap out in the sankirtan. I sure am not the one that dances or sings even now.. ha.. ha, but it is a lot better than what it was earlier. I wanted to sing and dance but felt the barriers of "decency" of man-made society. How we feel embarrassed of being ridiculed or mocked at and when we look at babaji , there are thousands of eyes glued on him, yet there is not a trace of being conscious in any way of the audience. And what all babaji does while singing; he tosses, swings his arms, raises his eyebrows, makes faces, and does everything like a small child does, being totally immersed in the joy of singing and immersed in his bliss. That is why just looking at him during those moments one feels elated. This is when I realized the real meaning of sankirtan. Babaji always talks about the three S. Sadhana, Seva, Sankirtan being the essential part of ShivYog. Many feel Sankirtan is not important. This is when one still has the feeling that to sing one must know singing or to dance one must know dancing. Our master does not know either but yet he is so perfect in it! Sankirtan starts coming in when one releases the body consciousness or the "I"ness starts reducing. I am not pointing at you but at myself since I still have this "I"ness.
Sankirtan is such a simple and entertaining method of letting go. This can be tried at home. Shut yourself in a room and play out the music and leave yourself loose. There will be a difference with the music on the dance floor (hip-hop, rock, etc) which you will enjoy for a while but it is exhausting after a while, but when one releases oneself through devotional music one will notice that it is not exhausting and one will feel more energetic after the let loose activity. Same happens in shivirs. If you notice, before doing sadhanas babaji builds up the energy level of the hall either through chanting or sankirtans and then begins with the sadhana. It is simply awesome to notice the energy vibrations before and after the sankirtan.
So, let's let go of all the inhibitions and release everything with babaji's sankirtans.
So, let's let go of all the inhibitions and release everything with babaji's sankirtans.
I made a small video mix of babaji's expressions and love in sankirtans. Have a watch.
Quality of Sadhana
What are the type of sadhana that I must do for my problem/disease/issue.
Babaji mentions that there are two types of sadhana:
1. Sakam Sadhana: This is when the sadhak has an intention or desire or focus on one remedy or solution. For example, a sadhak wants to cure an ailment and with the intent to cure that sadhana the sadhak does sadhana. In this sadhana, the once the remedy or solution or result is achieved every punya balance comes to zero since the intention was on achieving results for that particular ailment. Then the sadhak does another sakaam sadhana focusing on what is wanted next. Here, the results are very limited since the sadhana keeps working only for that desired results (the cause of which could be multiple). The causes may be even interlinked to so many other issues in life.
2. Nishkam Sadhana: This is when a sadhak has no particular intention but just does sadhana sincerely. Slowly, little by little all the karmic factors start dissolving, which in turn were causing all type of sufferings including that ailment. So, when the cause itself is dissolved with nishkam sadhana not only that ailment but lot of other issues and problems that were being caused by those karmic factors are also released. Thus, one moves towards self-realization by slowly purifying one's body, mind and soul. Babaji always tells sadhaks to do nishkam sadhana.
What if I am not able to sit for long durations for doing sadhana due to physical discomfort?
If there is lot of discomfort due to physical ailment or problems, then one can do Mahamruthunjaya chanting as much as possible. Remember, it is not the quality of time nor the quantity of japa but the quality of time and japa. Ideally, one can use the beads for count but do not pay much attention to the number of counts. Ideally, I have seen that it takes one round (108) for the mantra to give effects but this again is not a landmark. It will differ from person to person and also depend highly on how absorbed one is in the meaning of the mantra. The mantra should always be pronounced rightly and every word should be meant while reciting and one should merge with the feeling of the mantra. When this happens, the count just becomes least important. If there is pain or discomfort be relaxed being sure that Lord Mahamruthunjaya will certainly clear your ailment and know that you are slowly getting healed. Do not keep expectations on miracles or immediate results. This is because the cure depends on how much of trust and focus you have in healing and also depends on how thick that karma is that is causing you trouble. So have patience in the process and do not focus much on the discomfort.
If you are not a ShivYog sadhak, then it is highly recommended that you attend Babaji's shivir as early as possible. Do not worry much about how you will be able to sit or be there for so many days. Babaji even says, "Come lying down if you are even not able to sit." There will be a lot of difference because Babaji's gives you healing and make things easier for you to practice. Plus, the knowledge and methods of doing sadhana that you will learn is priceless. Then, when you practice the sadhana you will see that it is much easier and also much of your karmas will be released by then. Nothing to think much or discuss much about shivir, just go!
Till then there are simple things you can do. Accept 100% responsibility for whatever condition you are in. Release unwanted emotions of guilt, fear and resentment. Practice forgiveness and keep sending love to anything and everything that you come across.

Message from a Saadhak
!! Namah Shivay !!
Dear ShivYog Sadhaks and all the people having Faith in ShivYog Healing and having faith in Param Pujya Babaji and Guruma today I would like to share a very divine experience with the intention of making your faith more strong in ShivYog Healing.
After deciding a lot the decision was made to share this divine experience with you all which will surely help people in having a powerful faith in ShivYog healing.
Till now we have always sent healing requests to this Divine group and many have got benefitted from this Nish Kam Seva done by Hundreds of Sadhaks on this group. But we have never known how healing works and How Pujya Babaji and the Divine Beings help Humanity by Healing the people.
Most of us have seen Bhagwati Sanjeevani Maa from the Krilian Photography snaps uploaded on this groups Photo section. But please read the following with full devotion and Faith.
With the supreme grace of Paratpar Shiv, Babaji, All the Siddhas and all the divine beings while healing the people of this group I and my Sadhak friends always visualize that all the people who need healing (who have posted a request on this group) are sitting on chairs in a line and Bhagwati Sanjeevani Maa is flowing on all of them.
But here I narrate one very profound experience:
Once during sadhana, I was blessed to see a Divine view of what all was happening. I could literally see Pure Golden Energy forming a circle around all the people sitting on the chairs who needed healing and when avahan was done for all the siddhas and Babaji to come and heal these people, within seconds these people who needed healing were surrounded by thousands of Siddhas all in red robes (like our Babaji) including our Pujya Babaji, and all were healing the people of this group with their Pure Golden Energy. There was so much energy created that I was not able to see it for long. But the scene was so divine and has created a feeling of Happiness in my Heart.
I Thank Babaji and all the Holy Siddhas for healing this group people every day with their unconditional love and Bhagwati Sanjeevani Shakti.
There are certain things which I thought are necessary to mention along with this mail:
1. Question: People may say that if so much healing is done then why did a specific person did not get the required effects after putting their names on this group for healing?
Answer: My question to such people is "Why did others benefit when you couldn't?". Understand that every person has his or her own Karmic Factor and beliefs and we never know how strong that karmic factor is. If this Karmic factor is very strong then it will take some more time to heal. And at times the karmic factors are so strong that a person is suggested to attend Babaji’s Shibir to get healed soon. Babaji often mentions about this in his Shivirs that “Agar dava chahiye to Doctor ke pass jao, mein to Sadhana sikhata hu, agar Sadhana karke apne Karmo se mukti pana chahate ho to mere pass aana”.This has a very deep meaning that I would like to take an oppurtunity to explain.
Every problem/situation in our life has been created by us by our thoughts and actions of past lives. People due to ignorance always blame others for their misery. Such people take things too seriously and personal and refuse to accept their own mistakes or even consider such a thing could have possibly been created by them. When people have lot of such deep negative impressions and resentment towards others, they manifest in the form of various disease, fights, situations they may not like. Of course you need someone to act as a medium to administer the pain and suffering “you” have created and we blame this or that person for those problem. This starts a chain reactions as you crib on creation of one bad situation after another, more blames follow and which are followed with more suffering Loop.
Babaji's favorite quote for such situation is “Mein hi apna beri Muaa” (I am the enemy of myself).
So as Sanjeevani shakti does not just work on Physical level but also on all five bodies, it needs that in order to clear those negative energy debris, from your higher bodies, your willingness to forgive others. If you do so, you will be amazed how soon that problem vanishes and some sort of peaceful settlement is arrived at. Failure to forgive and forget hurts no one except you. So Babaji always say to forgive even your enemy as he was just a medium and he has in fact come to release you from that Karma by enabling you to undergo it thereby releasing it because you failed to forgive and give Unconditional Love in the first place.
Thus request all (Sadhaks and non-Sadhaks/Healees) to give lots of Unconditional Love to all Living Beings. Since many people forget such basic things, we have already added the above practice as part of the healing process, thus every time a Sadhaks sits to do Healing Sadhana and sends healing to people on this group's Calendar, he is simultaneously also healing Mother Earth, and all living beings past, present and future and All Healees and Sadhaks on this group. How profound and easy it is to pray for all in one sitting. Can you think of anyone who cannot be one among the aforementioned list and still be your enemy? Not possible. So all Karmas get released before they manifest.
For Non-Sadhaks, please learn to Forgive and Forget, give Unconditional Love to everyone. You don't require Disksha for doing this. Unconditional Love is your natural state. Doing just this with Nishkam Bhav will help Maa Sanjeevani to heal you faster. Ultimately you are creator of your own Destiny. So failure to release those deep resentment is going to hurt only you.
I had explained the below to one of our distressed Sadhak who was in the grip of serious Karmic repercussions. Maybe it will help most of you as well:
If the Loan is taken of 1,00,000 Rs and if it is paid in thousands then it will surely take some time to repay the entire Loan. Does a seed planted in soil, grows into a plant immediately or takes some time? Similarly our karmic factors are the loan taken by us and the Good Karmas, Sadhana, NishKam Seva, Mantra Recitation and doing good deeds are the ways of repaying it. So continue your faith in healing and never miss a chance to do Nish Kam Seva like the one done in this Healing Group ShivYog healing. Never put any time limit or expectations on Healing, just absorb the Kripa flowing through you. If you resist, Maa Sanjeevani will return back and you will remain thirsty sitting at the river bank when others came and benefited in no time.
The persons willingness to accept healing also plays an important role.
2. Request: Nobody should have a feeling that they should also be able to see this or that as otherwise the attention of the healers will be directed in getting these experience which is wrong. Kindly have your full attention in Reciting the Mantra with love and doing the Sadhana as taught in ShivYog shibir by Babaji.
3. Do not bring Karta Bhav when doing Healing on this group or elsewhere. In fact mentally bow down to the people making Healing requests and thank them that they gave you an opportunity to serve them and do nishkam seva which helped you to release so many Karmas and grow spiritually besides those healees getting healed. Remember you are not the Healer. Karta Purush Ek hi hai. Karne wala WOH hai, you are just a medium, a person who can pray because your Guru-Babaji connected you. This thing in mind will help you grow spiritually and Ego-The greatest of all barriers will not arise.
Humble request:
I request all the Sadhaks to request Bhagwati Sanjeevani Shakti to flow to the people who need healing on this yahoo group shivyog_healing atleast for 5 to 10 minutes(ideally 1 hr Sadhana must be done ) every day before ending the sadhana. As Babaji has given us a platform to do Nish Kaam Sadhana and Seva so we should do this with full devotion and with unconditional love.
Kindly spread this message to all the Sadhaks who are not members of this group yet, to request Bhagwati Sanjeevani Shakti to flow to this group everyday for atleast 5 to 10 minutes which will heal many people quickly.
4. 1 more thing I would like to Add that while reciting the Mantra during Sadhana sing the Mantra with Love and Devotion and as if we are reciting it not for ourselves but with a feeling that we are reciting it so that Lord Shiv Shiva and Babaji are hearing it. This will have more powerful healing.
I have very less access to this mail account kindly do all communication to the shivyog_healing group only. (shivyog_healing@yahoogroups.co.in)

Mysore Yagna
Mysore Yagna Experience (March 5th to March 7th 2010)
The mysore yagna was a very beautiful event. This was the first time I ever attended a yagna in my life and I had this opportunity of doing the first ever homa under the shadows of Babaji and Ishanji.
The three-day homa was fantastic. Pandits were called from Bangalore and the entire atmosphere was vibrating. Everything was well organized by the organizers and our heart-felt gratitude to them (especially Shivmoorthyji).
At the finish of the yagna, Babaji mentioned that he will be doing more yagna now, especially in north India and the next one will be in Ahmedabad..
On the last day babaji was very very happy and he was showering his gratitude and blessings to all involved in the program and all who made it possible. He said that he was very happy that the brahmin pandits did the "perfect" yagya in just the right way and Lord Mahamruthunjay was happy. He pointed out to certain aspects of how when the main pandit said "agni prajwalith kare" the agni spontaneously flamed up and the fire lit and danced happily, which babaji says is a great sign of the presence of the Lord and gods.. There were 108 homa kundas and each person involved in the yagna were provided with ghee and all other samagree from time to time by the sevaks. The main kunda was in the center of all the other kundas and was involved by Ishanji who sat facing North. Babaji was on the stage facing east. As the homa began, babaji sat in deep meditation most of the time facilitating the yagya. Ganapathy homa, Navagrah homa and rudra homa was done prior to doing the Mahamruthunjaya yagna. People who did not participate in the homa offerings were seated around the location and also participated whole heartedly. Babaji assured that the blessings of the yagya will be passed on equally to all those doing the homa as well as all those involved present there. All present for the homa were also offered a yellow chadar with "om namah shivaya" printed all over it. On the last day of homa, babaji tied around his head the "chadar"
After the homa that lasted for about four hours in the morning all were offered prasad. Then all gathered back in the evening in another open auditorium behind the homa ground where from 7 to 8:30 pm babaji graced everyone with Shiv kripa. On the last day, babaji was very happy and he was offered the typical south Indian cap which he wore happily over his head and danced and laughed as he was explaining the Shiv mahapuran, which was about the description of Lord Shiva.
About 2012, he didnt say much but he did mention that yagyas were to support the ascension of earth. Planet earth and all its inhabitants are moving to a higher dimension. Thus to make this process easy one must purify oneself by doing sadhana consistently. He also added that those who dont till then will suffer. (By suffering here Babaji means that one will not be able to match with higher frequency and it is well know that higher and lower frequency cannot stay together. So when the earth moves to a higher frequency all that vibrates at higher levels will go with it and all that vibrates lower will obviously face a lot of (self-created) suffering.)
His main message during the evenings were on being an alchemist, where you dont expect and try to change people, but you change yourself and see others around change. He also spoke again of 2012 where he asked people to do sadhana and purify themselves as the ones who dont will have to suffer. Babaji also sent healings and did mantra deeksha to all present. The people of Mysore are very soft-spoken, calm and very cultured people. So, overall, a wonderful experience it was being in Mysore with Babaji, Ishanji and all saadhaks!
Namah Shivaya!

Kama (lust)
Oops! One topic that is always restricted and shut down deep within but still which is battled every now and then. Lust becomes one of the greatest obstacle for a spiritual aspirant and more difficult because one cannot discuss this openly as we discuss other spiritual matters with each other or in forums. Now, I am not an expert in this subject but know that I am one amongst you. This is an in-depth subject and I am only expressing a normal layman view just trying to help you know that noone is alone in this. Let me become the book and let me become the reader here :)
Lust is one of the greatest obstacle in spirituality as this is the same precious energy that is used up for spiritual progress. In lust the lower chakras are more dominant. It flows from swadisthan and below. In lust the energy always flows down to the sexual organs and that provokes the release of that energy though different acts. Babaji often mentions the difference between love and lust. He says lust is experienced at the lower chakras and love is always experienced at heart chakra. When one gives unconditional love, the energy always moves upward and flows out from the anahata (heart) chakra. Babaji says the difference between love and lust is that during lust one is blissful during only that period and with love when you are not experiencing love you are still in bliss. Here is a video where Babaji shakes off the normal interpretation of raas leela and how one misunderstands the raas leela of Sri Krishna as the carnal pleasures.
Different yogis explain different methods of conquering lust which include different practices, awareness, kriyas, and some even ask not to treat sex as disgrace because even the best of saints were procreated through the act of sex. A grihasth yogi uses sex only for procreation and not for carnal pleasures. When sex is only used for stimulation and pleasure it becomes the animal instinct. A few years back when I was reading the" Autobiography of a Yogi" of Paramahamsa Yogananda I was surprised to read the following:
Early in their married life, my parents became disciples of a great master, Lahiri Mahasaya of Benares. This contact strengthened Father's naturally ascetical temperament. Mother made a remarkable admission to my eldest sister Roma: "Your father and myself live together as man and wife only once a year, for the purpose of having children."
However, this might not be possible for all since there are so many psychic impressions that we carry and most of these impulses are suddenly triggered when we see or come in touch with something in the world that has something to do with the deep impressions held in our subconscious mind. That is why Babaji never places any do's and dont's in ShivYog. He never says "Don't do this or don't do that." He just emphasizes in nishkam sadhana which will slowly take care of all these things. However, I thought I should have shared what everyone all face and none speak of. Many struggle alone with no one to ask this. Most of the time there is fear and guilt. Fear and guilt are most difficult emotions since they get stuck within us very easily and is are very difficult to let out. They are caused due to our social conditioning or wrong perceptions. Like, fearmay be instilled through religion, parents, teachers, superiors that something is bad and a sin and the moment that happens one is filled with guilt. But the act is normal than suppressing and creating further problems. More attention should be given to dissolving that fear and guilt and taking responsibility to overcome the struggle. Here is another video of Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath, a himalayan master who speaks on the subject.
The mahamudra that the master speaks of in the above video.
In my first shivir with Babaji in Pune 2008, Babaji had taken a few moments to explain about the same subject to the youths. Thanks to my book and pen that jotted down everything so that it could be reproduced now. Babaji mentioned about the four stages of life :
- The Bramhacharya ashram or period of student life: Here Babaji says one must maintain celibacy till atleast the age of 20 .
- The Grihasthi ashram or married life: Here he says multiple partners are not right.
- The Vanaprastha ashram or spiritual life or divine contemplation: Here Babaji says if the above two are maintained right then this stage is not difficult.
- The Sanyas ashram or renunciation: Here Babaji says if the above three are maintained right then this stage is not difficult.
Babaji further said that "The swadisthan stimulates the sex organs and when shakti rises all emotions rise, including lust. If this sexual energy is channeled upwards, then it becomes more creative energy. When shaktipath happens, you have to learn to pull up energy or energy will leak out from below." Babaji concluded, "Never have guilt."
Babaji then also gave a simple suggestion to channel this energy. "When you go to pass urine, stop and release atleast 20 times and do not expel at one time."
Another method he said was to stand up and do the moolabandha kriya, that is to pull up the perineal muscles (muscles between the anus and sexual organ) and imagine you are pulling it towards the sahasrar. While doing this he asked to hold both hands, the fingers of both hands touching each other with palms up just below the swadishthan (as shown in this image) Then to move both hands symbolically upwards passing the Manipura, Anahata, Vishuddha, Ajna and over the Sahasara and throw the palms over the head to the back of your head. While this is done the moolabandha should be done and energy from the swadisthan (navel) should be imagined to be distributed into the upper chakras. This kriya should be done twice upwards and once in the reverse way from the back of the head to the swadisthan.
This kriya is explained a bit by Babaji in the following video. Also he explains in this video how to channel energy of children if they get distracted and anxious about sexuality.

Babaji also asked to do the vajroli asana (you may google up this one) whenever possible.
